Support the Preservation of UNESCO World Heritage Sites Taliesin & Taliesin West.
On July 7, 2019, eight of Frank Lloyd Wright’s major works were inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List by the World Heritage Committee. The collection of buildings mark the first modern architecture designation in the United States on the World Heritage List.
The designation of our two properties as UNESCO World Heritage sites comes exposure to new audiences around the world, increasing tourism to the sites. This growth in visitation is vital to our mission, but will also mean greater impact on our historic properties, increasing the demands for vital preservation and maintenance work. And, while the UNESCO designation comes with this increased responsibility, it does not come with any additional funding.
Mitigating the impact of increased visitation at Taliesin and Taliesin West will require more resources from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Please consider helping with the significant preservation work of these two UNESCO World Heritage sites by making a gift today.
We invite you to be a part of history. Join us in celebrating this special inscription with a gift to support the preservation of Taliesin and Taliesin West below.
