In Conversation: Michele McGuinness, Gardening in the Southwest

Join us in exploring the connections between architecture, art, and nature in this informal conversation series! Guests can ask questions, engage with others, and purchase a beverage while learning about the core principles of art, architecture, and nature.

Our speaker is Michele McGuinness, a Maricopa Master Gardener since 2019, who continues to expand her landscape and gardening experience in a sustainable desert landscape and landscape design. She currently teaches vegetable gardening and integrated pest management (IPM) at Maricopa home shows and at the Desert Institute of Gardening. Active in teaching for over 40 years, she currently works with children and the community at the Fort McDowell Early Childhood Education Center building and maintaining a production vegetable garden.
