We also offer competitive compensation, an inclusive environment, and a comprehensive benefits package. Why Work at the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation?

Work/Life Balance. Every member of the Foundation team is committed not just to fulfilling their job duties and responsibilities, but also to making a difference in all they do. The sense of community that was fostered by Frank Lloyd Wright as his Fellows worked and lived alongside each other didn’t just further the work – it created a strong sense of community. Today, that spirit of community continues by employees who truly care about each other and the wellbeing of all with whom they come in contact. Through formal benefit programs like paid time off, paid sick time, and EAP services, as well as through engagement activities like all-staff celebrations and gatherings, we support each other in work and life.
Meaningful Work and Competitive PayThe Foundation makes every effort to provide a workplace that offers challenging opportunities and competitive pay. We recognize that all applicants have choices in where they choose to work, so we are committed to staying informed about competitive practices of the local market that may include both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. We also factor in how we reward great performance to meet the culture and goals of the organization.
Our shared Mission, Vision, and Values
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is firmly grounded in Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy: his principles, buildings, designs, and vision for the world. We are also deeply committed to sharing his work and ideas as a way to impact the world and make life better and richer today and into the future.

The difference we make for people and communities is at the forefront of what we do, and our Vision & Mission Statements highlight our impact supported every day by the work of our dedicated and talented team.
Diversity & Inclusion. Democracy is a very high thing. The faith in the individual is a great challenge and America
is that challenge to the world. -Frank Lloyd Wright, 1951

Frank Lloyd Wright’s work is grounded in core American values of liberty, democracy, and community. These values are represented not only in his built and written works, but also in his practice and, later, his Fellowship. Wright’s first employee, Marion Mahony, was one of the first women licensed to practice architecture in America; and women were welcomed into the Fellowship, as were individuals from many nations, faiths, and cultures.
These values drive us today.

As the Foundation evolves to meet our strategic goals and customers’ needs, we encourage our employees to grow with us. We are committed to providing a culture of education and advancement, including enhancing skills and talents through ongoing training, offering opportunities for promotion at all levels, ensuring open communication between leaders and team members around individual, team, and organizational goals, and holding ongoing performance discussions via formal evaluations and informal feedback.
Reaching More Than 130,000 People Per Year Each year, visitors from around the world trek to our World Heritage site. Every member of our team helps give each visitor a memorable experience – something that cannot be done without the tremendous teamwork enjoyed at Taliesin West.
Celebrating the Amazing Environments in Which We Work
At both of our campuses – Arizona’s Taliesin West nestled in the desert foothills of the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, and Wisconsin’s Taliesin in the Wisconsin River Valley in Spring Green – our employees treasure doing their work in places not only of historic significance but also tremendous beauty. Our workplaces are, in fact, designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and National Historic Landmarks, and every member of our team does their work surrounded by Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture principles and commitment to integrating nature into our lives. These unique, breathtaking campuses offer creativity and inspiration that our employees say begins the first day of working for the Foundation and continues throughout their tenure with us.
Hiring the Very Best Talent Our efforts to build strong relationships with our new team members start right from the time we receive job applications for our open positions. Our human resources professionals review every application as quickly as possible and reach out to those candidates whose qualifications meet the minimum requirements of the jobs. From interviews that are conversational yet informative through offers that are competitive and onboarding that makes it as stress-free as possible when starting a new job, our approach to recruitment ensures the “best of the best” feel truly welcome and valued.
