Will I be able to see Wright’s home and studio while attending a Cultural Program?

Cultural Programs do not include formal tours of Taliesin West. You can purchase tickets for various tours from our  Visit page.

Cultural Programs at Taliesin West take place in different parts of the home and studio depending on the theme and design of the Program.

What do I need to bring to the program?

All attendees, including Members, must have a printed or electronic ticket for entry. Individual Programs may require guests to bring their own supplies. Please check individual Program details on the ‘Purchase Ticket’ webpage so you are prepared. Programs can be a combination of indoor and outdoor experiences. Please look at the local weather to plan for your visit.

  • Sun protection – Taliesin West is in the open desert where even the winter months are sunny – wear sunscreen and consider a hat and/or umbrella for shade.
  • Clothing – Dress appropriately for the weather. Daytime visits can get quite hot, while mornings and nights can get cool quickly. Track local weather before your visit.
  • Shoes – There is an abundance of desert flora and fauna, along with uneven walking surfaces that include concrete, desert masonry stone floors, and gravel. Please wear appropriate footwear to ensure your safety.

Can I bring my child?

Children are welcome at Taliesin West.

Though many of our Cultural Programs are designed for adults, we do not restrict children’s access to Programs. (Please note, ticket prices for Cultural Programs do not change for youth ages.)

Programs specifically designed for children are also available – including Camp Taliesin West during summer, spring, and winter. Visit our Youth and Family Programs page to see our programming.

Additional experiences for the family will be offered throughout the year, so check the website often.

Will the Frank Lloyd Wright Store be open?

The Frank Lloyd Wright Store is open daily. Please check the store hours.

If you cannot visit in person, consider our Online Store or give us a call at 480.627.5398.
