Set Your Thanksgiving Table in Frank Lloyd Wright Style

At Frank Lloyd Wright’s two homes Taliesin and Taliesin West, Olgivanna and Frank Lloyd Wright often celebrated the holidays in lavish style with the Taliesin Fellowship accompanied by a feast.

To set the tone of your Thanksgiving feast, we’ve designed a Wright-inspired table setting complete with geometric patterns and colors influenced by the great architect’s palette. It was a tradition at Taliesin, Wright’s home in Southwestern Wisconsin, as well as at Taliesin West, his winter home and studio in Arizona, for Wright and his wife Olgivanna to join the members of the fellowship for Sunday morning breakfast.

When they were at Taliesin in the summertime, the Wrights also held the tradition of Saturday evening dinner with the Fellowship followed by a film.

The linen, glassware, and table setting decor were chosen based on the color palette of a desert autumn with Petroglyph ceramic plates and napkins that depict the Whirling Arrow insignia as a nod to Taliesin West.
